Haydn Seek Kids have a blast in hour-long classes limited to 4 students, each with his/her own piano.

Call for openings available in the M - F schedule:

          3:30 - 4:30            4:30 - 5:30

Fundamental concepts are carefully sequenced and illustrated through hands-on student projects tailored to individual interests.

With notation and composition incorporated from the start, these interest-based lessons become uniquely individual for each student, enhancing both the relevance and retention of basic concepts.

Project-centered study integrates music with math, history, science, poetry / language arts, and fine art.

Creative motion and playful manipulative materials enhance learning every step of the way.

A nurturing, collaborative atmosphere encourages teamwork, and creates a spirit of community where students help each other succeed.

Students develop time-management skills as well, selecting goals and charting their own progress toward these goals.

KINDERKEYS Ages 4 -5

For the curious preschooler, an active pace and tremendous variety of colorful materials provide an environment for joyous and satisfying learning.

A flexible curriculum allows students to "discover" basic concepts of keyboard geography, symbols, whole and half steps, simple rhythms and rests, and the sounds of major and minor chords and scales.

Costumed operettas and puppet productions immerse students in "style" and bring bygone eras of music to life. Singing and rhythm games are an integral part of every 45-minute class.

Class size is limited to 4 students, each with his/her own piano.

COOL KEYBOARDS

Older beginners often choose jazz / blues / swing / rock / or gospel styles at the keyboards, even adding percussion instruments to add away c-o-o-l rhythm.

In this hour-long class, limited to 4 students (each with his/her own piano), the social aspect of ensemble play helps students develop performance skill and confidence.

Greater rhythm precision is another advantage of group study, too, but mostly kids think making music together is just plain fun!

It's true . . . that big "piano band" sound IS exciting!

MUSIC FOR MOMS

No stress!  No pressure!  No recitals!

    9:30 - 10:30 am

      10:30 - 11:30 am

Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday

Combining laughter and learning, these morning musicians find joy in the PROCESS, at any level from beginners to advanced.

Though class size is limited to 4, FUN is UN-limited!

Repertoire choices run the gamut from old jazz standards, classic rock, and "easy listening," to beautiful hymn arrangements, or traditional classical  pieces especially selected to fit into a non-stop lifestyle.

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT

Parents and students are invited to the studio to enjoy fabulous movies throughout the year.

Lavish costumes and authentic settings, not to mention truly great music, fill these inspiring films - which usually last one hour or less.

Titles include award-winning composer biographies, Marsalis on the elements of music, the "Amazing Music" series for kids (from the Dallas Symphony),   "From the Top" featuring young performers at Carnegie  Hall . . . and many others.
